More info:

I've been blessed with a 25-year career as a prolific business journalist with major global multimedia publications that took me on assignments all over the world, covering news, politics, careers, management, finance, lifestyle, real estate, luxury goods, food & wine, leisure and travel.

I relocated to Florida in 2017, after 12 years working in Europe as both a website editor at the BBC Worldwide and a news editor at The Wall Street Journal.

Before moving to Europe, I spent a decade as a business/financial reporter and editor at The Wall Street Journal, Fortune and Smart Business magazine. A Miami native, I started my reporting career at the Sun-Sentinel newspaper.

At the BBC, as deputy editor of features website BBC Capital, I ran the London bureau, managing EMEA editorial, reviewing pitches, assigning and editing a team of global freelancers, driving traffic to our site, monitoring and analyzing real-time reader metrics, publishing on social media, and writing a column.

In my 10 years at The Wall Street Journal in New York, Brussels and London, I held many roles: What's News columnist on Page 1; assistant news editor on Personal Journal in New York; news editor managing Page A1-A3 for the European edition in Brussels; a features editor on Weekend Journal in London;

and copy editor on the European, Asian and U.S. editions.

Upon returning to Florida, I worked as Brand Director at MSC Cruises, where I oversaw and curated consumer and trade marketing communications for special projects to drive our fast-growth global brand forward in the U.S. market, including strategizing, managing and developing print, digital marketing & social media marketing campaigns across partnerships with Martha Stewart and the Super Bowl on high-profile projects in the Caribbean.

These days I do a lot of editorial consulting on projects for clients. I work closely with the Institute for Thought Leadership on social media, writing

courses, and book and newsletter editing.

On the side, I run my own company. I launched my entrepreneurial debut in July 2020, as Founder & CEO of Posh Dog Life (poshdoglife.com), an online retailer selling chic dog apparel and accessories that are a sniff above the rest. It's my side gig, but let's face it, who doesn't love their dogs? I, for one, spoil mine rotten.

I am a graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, holding both bachelor's (BSJ) and master's (MSJ) degrees, and have taught

journalism as a professor at American University in Bulgaria and Hunter College in Manhattan.
